The original Classic Curves Ruler was born in 2017 and is used by quilters all over the world. It’s popularity is due to the simple concept that allows you to cut both concave and convex curve shapes in all your favorite shapes. I originally created the Classic Curves Ruler to provide a single template/ruler to cut a variety of sizes and shapes for all my curved piecing quilt patterns. No more printing and cutting out pattern templates and it’s so much easier to use. BUT- it needed to cut the shapes accurately, including seam allowance so that they sew together smoothly and result in nice flat blocks. That is what is truly special about the Classic Curves Rulers.

Did I mention the shapes? With the Classic Curves Plus you can cut all your favorite blocks with just one ruler. No more buying a new ruler or template set for every new pattern you want to make. Why does that matter?
The typical template set for a drunkards path block includes two templates. You would need to purchase a new set for every size you want to make.
The typical orange peel block set includes three templates and would also only be good to make the block in one size.
It gets expensive, not to mention clutters up your space, to buy a new set or new shaped ruler for every quilt pattern. The Classic Curves Rulers are a one-time buy and a single template to make as many shapes as you want.
Let’s say you wanted to make all the basic curved piecing blocks and you purchased the template set above. This would include nine different templates. And guess what? you can only make one size block for each shape. You’d have to buy a whole new set for every pattern that wasn’t this size. Crazy right? Now imagine that you can make all of the shapes shown above, AND in 19 different sizes! wow!
