Brand New! Indigo Pattern Now Available

Now that you’ve fallen for curved piecing with your Classic Curves Ruler, I have a brand new quilt you are going to love! Indigo is the newest design for the CCRuler and I couldn’t be happier to show you these beautiful quilts.Indigo quilt pattern, with curved piecing using the Classic Curves Ruler by Color Girl Quilts

If you have a pack of 10″ squares (“layer cake”) you have been saving for the perfect quilt, you have found it! Indigo is ideal for 10″ squares to show off those favorite prints, but the classic design would look amazing in any type of fabric. I would love to see one in batiks or 30’s reproductions (-:

I made the sample on the cover with prints from Art Gallery Fabrics, with the focus and initial inspiration coming from the new “Soulful” collection by Maureen Cracknell. These pretty prints look great with BariJ’s Sage collection from last year, so I added some of those, plus others, too. You know I can’t resist using as many pretty fabrics as possible! Quilting by Darby Myers of Quilted Squid, thread from Aurifil and batting is Hobbs Heirloom cotton blend.Indigo quilt pattern, curved piecing with the Classic Curves Ruler by Color Girl

The original, smaller version of Indigo in blue and white was actually one of the very first quilts I made when I was developing the Classic Curves Ruler. I wanted to try a variety of sizes, so these curves are just 4 1/2″, but totally do-able and totally adorable! The Blue and White version was made almost entirely with one Layer Cake (42 10″ squares) from Moda Fabrics. I like the tone-on-tone look of this one.Indigo quilt pattern, with curved piecing using the Classic Curves Ruler by Color Girl Quilts

I hope you’ll give Indigo a try!  I think you’ll enjoy playing with color, print, and value to make this design all your own.

If you want to try it and don’t have your CCRuler yet, order one before October 31 and get the Indigo pattern (pdf) free with your ruler. Use coupon Indigo when you check out and make sure you have both the pattern and the ruler in your cart. click here to order Ruler.

Thanks! Have a great week, everyone,

Sharon

Good morning. I love the indigo quilt. I tried to order the ruler and pattern using the code ‘indigo’ but the site says I have to spend a specific amount of money for that code to work. Is that correct? There was no mention of the indigo pattern.
    Thanks

Hi! Yes the minimum refers to having both the pattern and the ruler in your cart when you order. The coupon code removes the charge for the pattern.
      thank you!

  3. Hi I ordered the ruler and used the code but didn’t get the pattern. 🙁

      Hi, There,
you must put the pattern in your shopping cart along with the Ruler, otherwise you only order the ruler. Be sure and put both the pattern and the ruler in your cart then use code Indigo at check out to remove the charge for the pattern.
