Let’s make a quilt together!
July 15-16, I have plans to host a virtual workshop on curved piecing…but it’s more than that!
As most of you know, I love including curvy shapes in quilts and I believe curved piecing is an essential skill in any quilter’s toolbox. To that end, I want to share my experience and tricks to help you all become successfully curvaceous quilters.
But really, I just think it will be super fun to meet some of you ‘in person’, talk about making quilts, and make something TOGETHER! so if that sounds good to you, too, sign up. It’s free and you’ll finish a mini quilt, or get a decent start on a larger quilt of your choice.

here are the nitty gritty details:
Each day will include a group meet up using Zoom. This time will include tutorials on all the steps to make the mini curvy quilt.
⭐️ALL are welcome! This is a no-pressure, beginner level class designed to teach you the basics of curved piecing and make a mini quilt with a group of new friends. All you need to bring is a smile and willingness to give it a go. Please do participate whether you are a complete newby or seasoned pro.
⭐️Templates will be provided. For the demonstrations, I will teach you how to cut the pieces using the Classic Curves Plus Ruler, so you can use your Classic Curves Ruler . If you don’t have a ruler, join us anyway and use the templates I will send out.
⭐️When you sign up, you are added to the group email list and that is how all messages about the class will be distributed. You can unsubscribe any time. Make sure you open the welcome email so you know you are on the list and messages aren’t going to spam.
Time and Dates.
We will start at 12pm eastern time each day and have an open end time for Q and A and those who want to stay on and sew together.
July 15: 12pm EDT (eastern U.S. time), 9am on the west coast: welcome, supplies, how to cut the shapes and start sewing, then learn how to square up your blocks, layout options and putting the quilt together.
July 16: 12pm EDT: Show and tell!
I am really excited to try this. I’m a tad nervous because this is my first time hosting a zoom meeting (fingers crossed the tech works!)
