Nice lighting options with your Stella lamp! I’m fairly new to quilting and am learning exponentially. My next quilt has flying geese (which I hope to master). Those classic curves are intriguing.

I know that half square triangles are the most versatile block, but I always still struggle with the finished shape. Must be my ironing technique is off. I really want to try my hand at half rectangle triangles.

I love making Star quilts, and I am working on my second Lone Star quilt now. These diamond shapes are a favorite finish made easy with the QuiltSmart technique. I am currently obsessed with making hexies that have the 1″ finished edge, so I say these are my current piecing shspes.
