My stash grew a bit this week because I finally gave in to temptation and bought a small bundle of fabrics from the collection “urban mod” by Art Gallery Fabrics that I have been admiring.
I believe that it just might be true that having hobbies and having budgetary discipline are mutually exclusive virtues. For me, anyway.
I realized that some of my other recent favorites that sneaked into my stash play well with the urban mod pieces.
Have you seen the fun fabric variety bundles that some of the online shops sell that are chosen by popular bloggers? well this would be mine. Some Glimma as well as other Lotta pieces, some Comma (Moda), PB&J (Moda), Indian Summer (Art Gallery) and pearl bracelets, among others.
Right now I am loving the look of Navy and Aqua together…..which happen to also look good with a bit of yellowy gold and bright green. Or how about pink? Navy, Aqua and Pink. oh, yeah.
It is so much fun to play around with fabrics and colors…. so many projects to create!
My flower patch is growing every day! I haven’t planted much new lately, just letting it all grow and bloom away. Beautiful.
