today I started quilting my Noteworthy quilt and I cannot wait to show you when I finish.
Another project is on my sewing table right now: scrapbooks!
how cute it this paper? I wish it came in fabric. One thing really fun about scrapbooking is the cute paper. If you are into fabric, you could easily get into paper!
Anyway, I am pretty far behind on my boys’ scrapbooks and have set a goal to catch up this month.

| winter page for the Pirate boy |
This evening I spent time remembering first lost teeth (last December), our fantastic ski trip to Colorado (kids and hubs ski, I sew), Christmas and an Easter eggs hunt. I found both kids’ class pictures from school taken last fall…it is amazing how quickly they change!
The boys and I also took an outing to the river to hunt for crawdads this afternoon (they looove to do this!). I was looking for rocks for my garden.

| throwing rocks in is the most fun |
Cleo explores, swims and tries to eat gross things before I can stop her.
The Pirate throws rocks in the water in between asking for more donuts.
The Professor was thrilled to find a (live) salamander and catch a water snail in his jar.
I am working on gathering rocks to build up around my flower beds to hold in the soil and mulch, I brought these home today,
they will be added to this project,
trying to create a natural-looking border so that the mulch and soil don’t spill out on the walkway where the beds are built up.
We are a busy and happy group!
Have a great week. Please leave a comment and let me know what you are up to in June.

too funny not to share: this afternoon as we were loading up to go to the river, I said, “Cleo is a water dog” and the pirate (4 years old) said, “I knew she was a wiener dog!”
