As November comes to a close, there is good news here at Color Girl Quilts. I had the wonderful opportunity to spend the week of Thanksgiving with my family in Hawaii, on the Big Island. This is our favorite vacation: something for both kids and parents as we all enjoy the scenery, weather, and especially snorkeling.
The colors there are so unique…from the black lava landscape dotted with dried grass on the arid side of the island, to the lush tropical forests that we usually associate with Hawaii. This is the first time we visited at this time of year…I loved it because the flowers are blooming everywhere!
The beginning of December also means some other happy things: Christmas is coming (my kids are so excited), and, best of all…I have a break from school! I am working on final projects this week and studying for one final exam, then time out from mid-December to the first part of January. That means Sewing! yea. I have some projects lined up to start, some to finish, and hoping to be on the blog a lot more sharing with all of you.
I hope your fall has been wonderful…I have missed sewing and blogging, so I am looking forward to more in the next couple weeks. Thank you all for your comments and for purchasing my patterns. It all means so much to me! Happy Holidays to all,
Sharon
