Giveaway is now closed! thanks for all the comments, I love reading them and learning more about what quilters and sewers are doing.
The Winner is Christy and she was notified by email. Thanks!
It’s a great day for a fabric giveaway! Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the quilting world. If you are a regular reader, I thank you for the kind comments. If you are visiting for the first time from the Sew Mama Sew giveaway day: I am glad you found me and I hope you will come back again soon.
For my giveaway, I have seven prints from the brand new (and much anticipated) range by Jen Kingwell for Moda: Gardenvale. The light piece on the far right in the photo is a fat quarter, the other six are large fat eighths (around 12″ x 21″). A good little bundle to get you started on your next sewing project.
All you must do to earn a chance to win is leave a comment here on this post. Tell me your very favorite type of quilting project, for example: simple, fast patchwork, paper-piecing, curved piecing, applique or other handwork, etc. If you are not a quilter, what would you like to make with this fabric?
Leave an optional second comment (and another chance to win) if you share a post or photo from my website on Facebook or Pinterest.
My favorite it curved piecing! I love experimenting with different shapes and layouts that you can get with curved shapes in quilts. Above, Eclipse is my newest quilting pattern and I have just listed it in my shop in print form, so you can get it in print or pdf download. I just finished my first semester back at University (yea!), so I am looking forward to sewing some new curvy quilts during the summer break!
Good Luck, and thanks for stopping by,
Sharon

I love anything fast and easy! I don’t have alot of patience!
I love simple and fast!
I love paper piecing.
I like to try all sorts of things, but would like to try some curves.
I do like a bit of everything, so that is why Jen Kingwell is my hero!!
Thanks for the chance x
Paper-pieced patterns are my go-to usually. I also like applique and I have just recently discovered EPP. So there is quite the range that I enjoy doing 🙂
Many thanks for the chance!

I love making baby quilts, you can do something complicated but it goes pretty quick
I’m very new to quilting. I’d like to make quilted cushions for my kids.
I love handwork the best, but all of it really.
In the past I have been a rather boring squares and rectangle and maybe triangles kind of sewist, I am hoping to branch more and more to curved piecing!
I pinned your beautiful quilt above! https://www.pinterest.com/pin/64105994672529794/
I really hate accurate cutting so I love strip quilting (scrappy style) and paper piecing because they don’t require me to cut out tons of really accurate pieces beforehand!
I like pieced lap quilts.
I am a newbie and am just trying lots of different things. I do love applique but am having fun trying all the different types of quilting. I love your new quilt design! So fun.
I like fast and fabulous–with intervals of slow and difficult. I won’t get a second entry because I have no idea how to do it. Great giveaway.
I love English Paper Piecing.
I love simple and fast piecing!
I am obsessed with paper piecing! thanks for the chance!
I love all kinds of quilts, but my quilts need to have a story of some sort 🙂
I guess I like simpler, faster quilts, since I don’t seem to be getting much better at cutting, piecing, or quilting.
I pinned a photo of your pattern Polka Dot Bikini (which I have purchased) to my Pinterest board called Mod Squad.
Simple, fast patchwork gets my vote. We all love Gardenvale fabrics. Thank you for being a part of the SMS Giveaway Day and giving us the chance to win these lovely prints.

I love a challenge and especially love to make landscape quilts .
I love improv quilting. There’s something very zen about just sitting down and letting things happen. It’s a slow process, but very rewarding 🙂
I don’t quilt…I’ll have to let the fabric inspire me. It’s beautiful!
I am not a quilter, though this may inspire me to be!! 🙂 I would probably use it for some bags or pouches.
My favorite quilting is doing something that makes me smile. And most of them make me smile, so I guess I’m versatile! Happy quilting to you!
I pinned your new pattern on my Pinterest page at Mountain Quiltworks!
I enjoy paper-piecing.
I like simple and quick quilts. Thanks.

I love all sorts of projects, simple quick and challenging – depends on the day
That quilt is gorgeous
I love traditional patchwork, mostly scrappy, art quilting/surface design, will do appliqué if the project needs it and am trying my hand at being more improvisational. Guess I love mostly all quilting, with binding being my least favorite part. The fabrics are beautiful and would be fun to play with.
I love to applique. It is sew much fun to build a picture from fabric. Thanks for the great giveaway.
I mostly do piecing and some simple FMQ. Love the beautiful fabrics you are offering.
Earlier today I ran across your blog for the first time. I was so enamored with your Aviatrix medallion quilt and posted it to Pinterest.

Just a few minutes ago another blogger asked for scrappy quilt suggestions and I sent her to your blog to look at that medallion quilt.
I really like all types of quilting, it just depends on how I’m feeling in the moment.
I love to use charm packs to whip up quick and simple quilts for the home. x
I enjoy fast and easy piecing, mostly because I like to spend my time quilting!
I’m still trying to work out my favourite type of patchwork, but I’m leaning towards simple fast piecing at the moment.
I find that I tend to make more bigger quilts than smaller projects.
Those fabrics are so pretty!
I would love to use those fabrics and create cheerful little potholders for my kitchen.
Thank you for the chance to win!
I really enjoy paper piecing and bag making.

I like the simple quilt but I hope to learn more about applique.
As I am new to quilting I am still in the simple stage. Thanks for the chance to win.
