For my giveaway, I have seven prints from the brand new (and much anticipated) range by Jen Kingwell for Moda: Gardenvale. The light piece on the far right in the photo is a fat quarter, the other six are large fat eighths (around 12″ x 21″). A good little bundle to get you started on your next sewing project.

My favorite it curved piecing! I love experimenting with different shapes and layouts that you can get with curved shapes in quilts. Above, Eclipse is my newest quilting pattern and I have just listed it in my shop in print form, so you can get it in print or pdf download. I just finished my first semester back at University (yea!), so I am looking forward to sewing some new curvy quilts during the summer break!

Currently my favorite type of quilt making is strip-piecing baby and lap quilts. Sometimes I add a bit of applique for detail.

I make a lot of log cabin baby quilts. They are quick and easy.

I’m up for anything but I do love scrappy strip quilts.
I love piecing any scrappy block that allows me to try out a new tool or technique. Right now I’m cutting and folding squares from my stash to make dimensional churn dash blocks.

Typically I like more modern looking quilts that work up fairly quickly, bold prints, etc. Very pretty stuff you have.

I like projects that are generally large lap to couch sized and are generally made with small pieces.
My favorite, for now, is jellyroll projects. I just started quilting, don’t have any fabric stash, and a complete novice at sewing.
I am not a quilter — but I would love to win this to make dresses for little girls in need — that is my passion.

hmm I don’t like trimming … I loath paper piecing though the results are always stunning. I don’t like large spaces of the same fabric, I like curves, I like ordered chaos I don’t like white and love volume so much … sometimes I really like the quick and dirty stack and whack stuff … I just joined a “no rulers allowed” bee which is great fun, free form curves and waves and nothing is too neat …

As a new quilter, simple scrappy squares are my thing right now.
Love those fabrics and Jen Kingwell’s patterns. I tend to like either quick and dirty piecing or intricate and challenging designs. Depends on the purpose of the quilt.
I love small intricate projects. The more pieces the better.
I like all quilting except needle turn applique, I’ve tired it twice w/2 different teachers and it’s not for me.
i mostly like free form liberated quilting. not a lot of thinking or technical stuff…just sewing. thanks for a chance, i love the fabric.
Piece work I guess it is called. Cutting small pieces and sewing them together to make a design block, then sashing the blocks. I envy your curve talent. I can’t make it happen!

My favorite projects are free-range. Minimal planning, just going off of the colors and designs that appeal to me in the moment. I tend to get distracted with structured patterns 😉
I like to alternate what I do. So I’ll make a more complex quilt and follow it up with a speedy, simple patchwork quilt. Thanks for the chance to win!
