Periodically, I like to post about what is inspiring me and pay compliments to other sewers and designers….
First, my stash grew a bit this week with the addition of some “Notting Hill” fabrics,
The colors on these fabrics are gorgeous: hot pink with bright orange, aqua and lime green, mmmm!

Joel Dewberry’s Heirloom is one of my favourite lines – last year I made a wedding quilt with it using one of Cindy’s patterns!! I’d love to make Swoon blocks from Notting Hill!!
I love mug rugs. They are gorgeous. And every time I see one now I drool over it. I actually have begun a Breast Cancer awareness mug rug project. I will be donateing a mug rug to every one of the nurses & staff at The Breast Care Center; Were I was just recently diagnosed with breast cancer. After years of only sewing quilts I am now in love/obsessed with sewing bags, totes, purses, wallets . . . oh the things you can do with beautiful fabric and a sewing machine. Love, love, love these gorgeous fabrics . . . would make a cute bag, don’t you think?
