for the giveaway today, I have two!
for visitors in the United States, one person will win this little package of pink fat quarters and pink scissors and tape measure:

for international visitors, you can win a PDF copy of my newest pattern, Flying Kites, so you can make this:

to enter the drawing, leave me a comment including where you live (so I know which drawing to put you in) and what is growing around you (is it your fabric stash or your flowers?)

**this giveaway is now closed! thanks for visiting, come again.

Enjoy!

I live in Tennessee! It’s unseasonably cold, so I’ve been denied proper flowers all spring (except the lilacs, which did exceptional this year)? 🙂

  2. My flowers are growing here in New Hampshire, USA! Peonies, irises, lilacs, phlox and periwinkle all beautiful, blooming or just about to bloom. I love springtime. And what a relief after the snowy winter we just had!

  3. Caryn says:

I’m reading from Neveaska. I planted bulbs last fall and the buds were up when the freak snow storm hit last week. I tried to cover them, but I’m not sure if they’re going to bloom now. The lavender has started though and the Asiatic Lilies were just peeking through and look like they’re going to be alright. I’m late getting lettuce seeds planted though. Maybe this week.

  4. Sewing Mom says:

Here [IL] the dandelions just exploded, phlox is in bloom, the grass is growing so fast we could mow at least 3x a week if it were dry enough, the tulips are all in varying stages of up and flowering, rhubarb is ready to pull, peony stems are about 12-14″ up, roses are putting on new growth, wheat is easily over 1′ high, grape vines are pushing out new buds and how, hostas have just broken ground and are about 3-6″ above mulch with leaves starting to whorl open, irises are pushing up their first few blades with the newest planted coming 3″ up and the established beds already 9+” tall, mints are spreading fast and the rest of the perennials are showing new fast growth. It’s all been very fast in the last week or two. [My fabric stash has been instructed to stay put and get fabricated asap.]

  18. Just discovered your blog via SMS giveaway. My favourite activities are quilting and my garden. Here in South Wales, UK spring has finally arrived so everything is now coming into bloom ( about 4 weeks later than usual), the daffodils are still blooming but about to go over, tulips are in full flight and the bluebells are just coming into flower. The hellebores, fritillaries, erythonium and pulmonaria are going strong in my shady border. My apple, pear and cherry trees are also just flowering. I could go on! My fabric stash is also growing but I’ve spent the weekend in the garden because it’s the first time we’ve had decent weather to get out. Thanks for the lovely giveaway!
