HST are my current favorite as they are featured in several of the pieces I’ve worked on lately. I’m intrigued with curved piecing but haven’t jumped into that pond yet. Thanks for the opportunity.

    HST are my current favorite

  3. Beth S. says:

HST, so many possibilities with them.

  4. I’m into log cabin quilts at the moment so rectangles are big on my list this week! Those Stella lamps look awesome – thanks for sharing!

  5. Lissa LaGreca says:

Hmmm. Favorite shape is usually whatever I’m currently working on!!

    I love flying geese!

I love your happy sewing corner. I do love 1/2 square triangle units. But I am going to try a diamond quilt soon. I may fall in love with that. Thank you for this opportunity.

  10. Barbie says:

Thank you for this opportunity. I’m liking 1/2 square triangles but am going to try diamond shapes soon

    Circles…classic curves ruler

  12. JaneR says:

I’m into rectangles at the moment…so many different ways to make scrap quilts with them!

  13. Christina Clark says:

Learning to love HST, want to try curves. As a mom of three young men, pink was always my go to color for something just for me!

  14. Heidi Biller says:

Love to sew flying geese. The Stella light is so cute and functional. I could use this at my sewing desk and to take to quilting retreat with me. Hope to win!!!!!

  15. Heidi Biller says:

I love half square triangles. The lamp is super cute and would be great to take along at quilting retreats and my sewing table.

  16. Claudia (TN) says:

Hmm. Not sure what my favorite shape is, but I don’t like working with tiny pieces of any shape. I have a hard time keeping tiny pieces squared up, unless they’re paper pieced. Thanks for the giveaway!

  17. Melanie C says:

I would totally choose pink too!!!! Love it!!!

I love half-square triangles as you can make soooooo many different blocks with this shape!!!

  18. Gloria Blevins says:

I’ve always loved curved blocks. Right now I’m working on learning how to do them without the headaches!!

  19. Gloria Blevins says:

Circles and half-circles are my favorite. Learning how to make them is the challenge.

  20. Nonnie Anne says:

Picking a favorite shape is not easy! But I love curves – both improv and patterns. I’m hankering to make something with circles soon. Thanks for the helpful video, too.

  21. Nancy Tuer says:

I love circles! Both in the fabric and the design.. Having more light to work with would be wonderful too.

  22. Jan says:

Love to quilt. But circles are not my fave. Give me anything to sew but those darn circles.

  23. Celia Ambrose says:

I like half square triangles. Liked your video showing the Stella lamp. I’m already signed up for your emails.

  24. Debbie Miller says:

I love squares that I can sew on reasonably straight! HST, QST and rectangles-so many possibilities. I am all for brighter sewing lights and would love to win!

  25. Marti Meadows says:

    HST are my favorite!

  26. Penny Sens says:

Since learning piecing with circles at a workshop I would like to do more of that to get better at it. It is challenging and so many options. My new favorite besides straight. Have a few of classic ruler circle patterns to do and collecting fabric for my next one.

  27. Susan S says:

    Love HST the best!

  28. Jaye says:

Your video is so cheerful! I don’t know if I have a favorite shape. Someone below said stars, which I love, but stars aren’t really a shape. I feel like I should say curves, because …Color Girl! That wouldn’t necessarily be true, though I don’t dislike curves. I know what I don’t like. If you force me to choose, I will say triangles because I can make so many different units with them. Thank you!

My favorite shape is the half square triangle. This is a very versatile shape.

  32. Vicky H says:

I love hexagons—not the epp type but the 10″ hexagons. Large pieces make quicker quilts. The lamp looks great. Thank you for a great giveaway.

  33. Ula says:

pattern piecing is my new favourite. And I would love to try out classic curves ruler soon.

  34. Diane Gibson says:

I am learning to master HST with the help of a new ruler, and I plan to make a wall hanging with the 60 degree triangle. So much to try…

  35. Donna Smith says:

HST but I really like squares too. Love the lamp and I love the pink too!

  36. Beverley McCormack says:

I’m a little strange in that my favorite is round like in the double wedding ring. Flying geese not so much after 320 of them for a quilt.

  37. Jan Parker says:

Your flowers are awesome. The mottled purple/white ones are peonies maybe. Geez, they’re pretty.

Anyway I love curves like drunkards path block. I made a queen-sized quilt by hand with over 400 of them. I used 30’s reproduction fabs. It looks old timey.

  38. Jan Parker says:

I love drunkard’s path. One of my favorite quilts that I’ve made. It had 440 squares done by hand in 30’s prints.

  39. Donna Hawley says:

I love making pinwheels, so I would have to say half square triangles

  40. Julie Radetski says:

I’ve only sewn squares or rectangles but my favorite that I want to learn to sew are hexies!

  41. Julie Radetski says:

Tried posting and didn’t see it so I’ll try again. I’ve only ever sewn squares and rectangles but I want to learn hexagons because they are my favorite. I’ve done some EPP but I want bigger hexies!

I like her but don’t always do them well.

I LOOOOOOOVE hexagons!!! Y seams and all! ?

  45. Susan says:

I like all kinds of shapes, but I am a beginner and squares and rectangles are the easiest to work with.

  46. Andrea Ficarella says:

I have been in love with circles lately. Hope to get into hexagons some day.

  47. Elizabeth says:

I like hst! There’s just so many things you can do with them!

  48. Laura M says:

    I like squares/rectangles.

  49. Diane says:

    I’m currently enjoying curved piecing.
