I am so happy to share this finish! it seems like I have posted a lot about this quilt, but it is soooo great (I can gush a bunch, because I didn’t actually piece it, my mom did). I quilted and bound it, finishing up last week.
I was a bit intimidated about quilting this, since I am a total newbie to quilting and this is the biggest one I have attempted. I had no problem getting it done, though, because it was such a pleasure to enjoy all the beautiful fabrics as I stitched over them.
guess what? last week when I was out visiting my mom, she told me I could keep this quilt. can you believe it?! I am thrilled and will love taking naps under it.
I am so inspired by her color choices in this too.
