The first rows of my “noteworthy” quilt. I LOVE the colors and fabrics, but it is not working quite as I envisioned it, which is disappointing!
I want to do another version with different color placement….
…so that the rings formed by the strips stand out more.

The thin stripes add so much to the design and I love the soft colors. Have you considered doing some hand quilting echoing the secondary shape you’re wanting to stand out? Haven’t done that myself but in general that extra detail can add a big punch. Happy Week to you too.
Sorry it is not what you were hoping for, but it’s coming together nicely! Maybe once it is quilted you will be happier with it? I usually find that the quilting helps tie it all together.
